COVID-19 Safety Procedure

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Studio|170 Salon|Spa|Boutique will be following strict guidelines in order to protect the safety of clients and employees. These recommendations are in conjunction with the board rules for safety and sanitation that are currently in place. Keep in mind that these guidelines will be in effect during the period of the COVID-19 pandemic and may be adjusted as necessary, and will be reduced when safe to do so.  With the target date of June 1, 2020 to reopen for business we have made the necessary changes to the salon, spa, and boutique to accommodate you and our staff in a safe and sanitized approach.

  • Sunday 8:30 am- 6 pm
  • Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Friday 8:30 am – 9 pm
  • Saturday 8:30 am 7 pm

Stylist Hours – working in 6 hour shifts will be randomly spaced for next few weeks/months as adjustments are made.
8:30 am – 2 pm
3 pm – 9 pm
 *2 shifts a day will allow us to accommodate all types of appointments with scheduled time for sanitation of each station, our tools and supplies for each client.

All appointments subject to changed based on current mandate.
Clients – Salon and Spa (nails)
Clients car will be their waiting room.
Text or call for check-in and for when appropriate to enter.
For appointments only entry will be through first floor back door entrance.
Guests must wear mask within the confines of Studio|170 Salon|Spa|Boutique.
Upon entry you will be provided with laundered smock or cape to be worn the entire appointment.
Please bring in with you only your form of payment and cellphone to prevent the spread of germs.

Clients entering the salon|spa can/will be questioned:
Have you had a cough?
Have you had a fever?
Have you been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the past 14 days?
Are you living with anyone who is sick or quarantined?

Salon and Spa Guidelines
1 client to 1 stylist per appointment no additional guest or  children.
1 client to 1 Nail Technician no additional guest or children.
Manicure tables will have clear acrylic wall guard separating client and nail tech with opening for 1 hand at a time for service.
All employees will be masked, shielded or both.
Disposable gloves will be provided to all employees 
Staff has been Barbicide Certified.
All work stations and processors will be 6 feet apart. 
There will no longer be food or beverage services provided throughout the salon|spa|boutique.
Forms of sanitation will be provided.
Frequently used surfaces will be sanitized regularly throughout the day.
Checkout – Will be done in 1st level/ Boutique
Front Desk/Checkout desks will have acrylic wall guards for maximum protection.
No payment will be excepted prior to appointment.
There will be a 4% service fee for all credit card payments
Fees will be waived if payment is with Debit, Check or Cash.
